Welcome to OTB’s ACC Power Poll! My ACC basketball power ranking here is less text, but packed with info you need for the coming week in ACC basketball as I have NCAA Tourney projections, all the records, who’s on a roll, and my picks for the big games of the week…enjoy!

(2) Maryland Terrapins at (4) Virginia Tech Hokies, Saturday at 4:00.
OTB’s Prediction: Hokies 73 Terps 68
The Why: Hokies just aren’t playing well, but they return to the confines of Cassell where they are undefeated–and with improved play, it stays that way. Maryland has notched road wins at FSU, BC, and NC State already so if any team is going to break the streak–it’s the Terps, but the Hokies are playing for their tournament survival and need it more.
(6) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at (7) Clemson Tigers, Tuesday at 8.
OTB’s Prediction: Tigers 69 Jackets 65
The Why: If Georgia Tech falls to BC inexplicably on Saturday, this very well could be a NCAA bubble elimination game as they both need 8-8 at least with an ACC Tournament win for security. This game is a rematch of a battle that took place in Atlanta with the Jackets prevailing–it’s senior night in Clemson for Trevor Booker and Demontez Stitt so the Tigers and the crowd will be on for the Clemson win.
(1) Duke Blue Devils at (2) Maryland Terrapins, Wednesday at 9(Raycom).
OTB’s Prediction: Terps 66 Devils 62
The Why: The Terps make a second double-entry into the G2W–that time I took them to lose on the road at Duke, but win at FSU. They split this time too as while the Blue Devils have developed down-low(especially with Zoubek)–but the Terps did not display their offensive firepower in Cameron and will be on for this one. This is the marquee game they need to get a better seed and most likely meet the Blue Devils again in the ACC Championship game.
