- James Madison Dukes @ Virginia Tech Hokies / ESPNU / 1:30 p.m. ET

Bringing The Noise: Orlando Sentinel wonders if the ‘Noles can stop one of the Sooners’ top targets. FSU prepping on defense for the quicker pace of OU from Tomahawk Nation. The Sports Network brings the facts/stats for the game in the Miami Herald. Orlando Sentinel covers whether this could be a springboard game for FSU like other big games in their history.
Watch This Over…: Michigan/Notre Dame, man, what a boring game – just go ahead and get two TVs for FSU/OU and Miami/OSU.
- Kent State Golden Flashes @ Boston College Eagles / ESPNU / 3:30 p.m. ET
Must-See Matchup: BC running game vs. Kent State’s no. 1 rushing D in the nation

Watch This Over…: LPGA Tour golf, sorry, BC-Kent State, but you fall just ahead of Clemson-PC on list of ACC games to watch at this time slot.
- Miami Hurricanes @ Ohio State Buckeyes / ESPN / 3:40 p.m. ET
Must-See Matchup: Jacory Harris, Canes’ O vs. tough road environment
Ohio State is a solid team, but let’s face it – Miami has the players to take this one. One of the major factors is just how wide-eyed Harris and co. will be at the Horseshoe.
Bringing The Noise: Miami has a “freebie” at Ohio State according to the Miami Herald. Jacory Harris saying all the right things going into the OSU game. HD and ESPN’s Big Ten blogger break down Canes/Buckeyes. HD also hits how big this game is for the state of the Miami program. It’s likely that Miami will be without Graig Cooper Saturday. Eye of the Hurricane breaks down the Ohio State offense. Pressure on Pryor will be huge in this one.

Must-See Matchup: New high-flying Hoos’ offense vs. USC defense looking for redemption
Southern Cal’s defense looked bad against Hawaii – just awful with 524 yards and 36 points given up. Can the ‘Hoos take advantage? Probably not, but we’ll see.
Bringing The Noise: The ‘Hoos will likely be without safety Rodney McLeod Saturday. Special teams weren’t so against Richmond – Cavaliers looking to improve. Virginia’s offense impressed in game one and hope to be making step in the right direction going to SoCal. HD thinks Southern Cal might be out for blood after a poor performance vs. Hawaii in week one.
Watch This Over…: Colorado State/Nevada, cross-country ACC-PAC 10 tilt or the remnants of the WAC/MWC – I think you know the choice here, folks.
We’re almost back to fooball, folks. Check out ACC Blogger tomorrow for our picks for the weekend!
