Wake Forest 79, Furman 55

C.J. Harris led all scorers with 20 points as the Demon Deacons (5-5) coasted to a 79-55 win over Furman (3-7) at the Joel in Winston-Salem. Forward Travis McKie (16) and true freshman Tyler Cavanaugh (10) also scored in double-figures as the Demon Deacons shot almost 54 percent from the floor.

Miami 72, UCF 50

Reggie Johnson had a monster double-double recording 16 points and 13 rebounds to help the Hurricanes (7-1) rout in-state rival Central Florida (6-3) 72-50 in Orlando. Durand Scott led all scorers with 17 points in 30 minutes of play. Shane Larkin (11) and Kenny Kadji (10) also scored in double figures for the Hurricanes, who dominated the boards all night, out-rebounding the Knights 37-22.

(25) NC State 88, Stanford 79

Lorenzo Brown (24 points, 5 assists) and Scott Wood (17 points, 4 rebounds) each had their best performances of the season as the Wolfpack (8-2) raced out to a double-digit lead and never trailed against Stanford (7-4) before holding on for a 88-79 victory, despite a late rally from the Cardinal. Richard Howell had yet another huge double-double (17 points, 12 rebounds) and C.J. Leslie added 17 points and six rebounds to propel the Pack, who remain undefeated at home on the season.
