Nice write up. Agree with Manning as player of the game, but I would have given honorable mention to Baumann. His 4 punts inside the 10 were huge. I think the heels only crossed mid field twice

Matt,

Thanks!

Right now, I'm planning on it...should be another classic with how the two offenses are performing.

You cane fans seem to forget the pounding FSU gave the Canes. I have been a Cane fan since the 70s. But the last few years, they have been a disaster with harris and shannon and the coaching staff. Not in shape, no discipline, no character to play every play for the full 60 minutes. YEs, I have played football, on the field for the full game, lost 15 pounds a game or practice. The prima donnas of the Canes do not know what hard work is.

Looks like another 50-50 season for the Canes in 2011.
Harris is NOT a QB. He throws forward passes after running past the line of scrimmage. He has NO leadership skills. He can not stand in the face of a blitz and deliver. He has no concept of the time ticking away. HE does NOT even know that water and potassium pills eliminate cramps and back spasms.
harris needs to go back to high school along with what passes for coaches who do not get players in shape, do not get in their stupid faces, do not have coaching skills nor what to call, never call blitzes on great QBs which should be a no brainer.

I agree with your assessment. But, as a Clemson fan, I can see the possibility for a great season as well.

Just an FYI, Tech is going to be the suprise of the year for most of the ACC writers in the country. Have any of you been really paying attention? You all write like fans cheering for FSU and Virginia Tech. VT lost there entire offense and parts of there defense.
GT has the talent in place now at every position on the field and the coaches have proven track records. The offense never fails and year two under Al Groh on defense promises great strides from a young team full of talent. For the record VT will lose 3 or more in the ACC this year and finish 2 or 3rd in the coastal behind a young GT team. FSU might win the other division, but somehow I think losing Ponder is going to cause them to slip into second place in there division as well. Stop Cheering and report the real facts.

10-2 is a bit optimistic for a team with so many coaching, personell and scheme changes. My guess is more like 7-5.
