Another week passes–another week closer to football season! The Friday Fiesta Linkfest looks up some interesting ACC stories that set you up for your weekend. Apparently, there’s some big media event this weekend(who schedules a media event on a Sunday-Monday run?) so that will be interesting I guess, but will Tebow be there?

Sorta speaking of the SEC, they run the world now according to one AJC writer(surprisingly, the ACC didn’t want to comment on that).

We have *free* goodness from the ACC Sports Journal with an article about the tradition of solid RBs at Virginia Tech.

They moved sites(SB Nation looks like a pretty sweet gig) and changed to an even more confusing name, but FromTheRumbleSeat pits GT’s Jonathan Dwyer vs. Clemson’s C.J. Spiller with some interesting stats and thoughts.

Based off a Joe Schad tweet(not even kidding), NewOrleans.com reports that UNC and LSU might meet next season in the Chick-Fil-A Kick-off(which was really confusing to me because I thought NCSU-Tennessee was already finalized, but that’s for 2012 apparently).

For a more confirmed next season matchup, it was announced earlier this week that Virginia Tech and Boise State will battle at FedEx Field in October next season.

Clemson sophomore DE DaQuan Bowers has been working hard in the offseason to become more of a beast.

HD gives a tip of the hat to the top seniors at each ACC school this upcoming season.

Alright, enjoy your weekend folks!
